Ansel Adams took his famous photograph titled, "Autumn Moon: the High Sierra from Glacier Point"
on September 16, 1948. The moon and the sun are in exactly the same place as they were at that time every 19 years.
September 16, 2005 was exactly 57 years from the time he took this famous photograph. The above photograph was taken
at this time from The Gore Range as the moon rose above Williams Fork Mountain in northern Summit County, Colorado.
It is a tribute to his artistry and genius.
